Tried sorting the fueling issues, following Keith's guide first try I managed to get modulation down from 73% to 60%, but I realised the rear support bracket is missing from the FIP, so saw that as a good place to stop as the modulation was bouncing from 60% to 10% and back up to 60 again. Which to my uneducated mind makes me think the pump is flexing causing the problem there.
On that, don't suppose anyone knows what the intake nuts size is (I've seen M8 but that doesn't seem right to me)? They fit perfectly on the stud where that bracket goes but don't want to pay 10 quid for the privilege so just need a nut size so I can plunder one from work on Monday.
Good news is she revs freely, bad news is still super low on power, but I hope that will improve when I bring in that final 10% of modulation.

Replaced the control arm ball joint today with massive help from @Flossie , don't think i could have done it on my own! I'm rubbish at thinking my way out of problems but I'll remember for a next one!

I set up an account with TFL for all of my vehicles in January, went to a funeral in the ULEZ a couple of weeks ago and got the £90 fine on Saturday for non payment. Turns out, the account I set up on their intentionally impossible to navigate website was for the new tunnel that they want to charge everybody for and although it leads you to think it cover ULEZ, it doesn't. FFS! It's my mistake and that's that, but it doesn't make it any easier to swallow. I don't want to spark the debate here again.More an excuse then anything, i genuinely think my vans brillant but comfort factor and losing 80 miles a tank isn't really that big a deal at all on a 1200mile stint, and the van doesn't make v8 noises
So, if you add the £90 that it's cost me to your Transit running cost over that journey, it makes it even smarter to listen to a v8 soundtrack. Perhaps I should get a Supercharged for the couple of times a year that I go into the misery zone.
As to what I have done with it, I replaced the CV joint on the NSF and the air spring also on the same corner on Saturday. That was a pleasantly easy job to do. Spent Sunday trying to get the slurry off it from last weekend's fun. I now need to clean my street before the Environments lot turn up and start asking questions.

Well back home ended up on more adventures then planned, just over 2000miles blasted out in total, i think the gearbox may be feeling it now though got a flared shift into 3rd from cold today with trailer on all seems fine other wise but the first two shifts into 3rd flared a little by like 100rpm its never done that before and all other gears fine, at 167k now if it is kaput its time for a new box iv definitely had my fair use out of it
Away to drop van for mot and check the rr gearbox level, and engine oil and coolant since i was that rushed and forgot Thursday night and im off too loch lomond in the morning for a few days work so that'll be another 5-600 miles by time im done il know by then,

Wet snow for more than an hour, it didn't settle, followed by rain for the rest of the day, freezing cold. Thick fog this morning but at least it's a little bit warmer at 8CBloody snow?

We had 4 days of sunny weather a week ago, got up to 17C one day. I guess that was spring. Just long enough for me to cast a new concrete top for the fosse septique and a new regard before inspection on Friday.We've had 12°here lad
