About a hour wasn't a bad job little ackward getting the top bolt by feel and using a uj the other bit that is a fiddle and the heat shield is bolted up by exhaust manifold, done by feel againHow long did it take to change starter? Think mine on my 4.2 is getting bit lazy. Up in Scotland in a week or so, hopefully it will behave itself.
Had sticking calipers about a month ago, did check temps other day, rear wheel centres were 16 & 17 degrees and fronts were 18 &19 so brakes and bearings seem to be running fine.When it does it, stop quickly and go and check the temperature of the rear wheels.
Mine did similar and It was one of the rear calipers sticking.

Could it be bulked out with some foam strips or something to bulk it out, just needs to fill the gap?
I've done something similar on an old Peugeot in the past with old motorcycle fuel line. Fish tank airline might work too?

Have you tried to close it from lazy locking?well with the battery disconnected the suspension on the p38 has stayed up all week so im getting somewere with it, alas the passenger window refuses to go up now

Ah OK. In my case it has always been the switch in the centre console causing the problem so it has been lazy locking to the rescue.i think its just sticking as it was slow to go down as well

Mine has been leaking around the compressor spindle. Pressure was dropping slowly over several weeks, but only found the leak because I took the mag clutch off to check if that was the rattle I could hear when engaged. There were no other dye signs anywhere on the system.Re-charged the aircon with a can of R134a. The previous can has lasted almost 12 years. I don't think there is a leak as there was still some pressure just not enough so it didn't get really cold. The re-charge include a dye which will show if there is a leak.
