Is premium diesel with it or is it snake oil?
It's currently only 2ppl more than regular and i need half a tank full at the mo
Meant to have more cleaning chemicals in it but in nearly all my diesels iv had iv never noticed any difference from normal, biggest difference I find is with my current td6, if I use Tesco fuel it sometimes feels like it had a dodgy injector but use shell, bp etc and it’s fine.

I reckon the biggest difference would be from taking the inlet manifold and egr off and cleaning the crud off, fuel isn't going to touch that

I wondered if the air wasn't blowing as cold as it should, didn't feel more than mildly cool to my handπŸ™ IR thermometer confirmed my hand isn't working and registered either side of zero!!! It might not be accurate but that's good enough for me πŸ‘πŸ‘

Decided to rebuild the EAS compressor that failed a few weeks back. Turns out the con-rod bearing had disintegrated and there were metal bits inside the cylinder, head, etc. Luckily I had a spare piston assembly & head from a pump with a broken magnet.

I should probably check inside the valve block at some point, but not got time for a few days.

Not entirely today but it has been a week of watching MrGorsky reassemble his car and occasionally lend a hand. The engine is back in and almost all the parts are back on. Just a couple went missing at some stage so we're waiting for Mr Postie to deliver those and then it is time to see if she runs.

Now you see them
