I drove my car for the last time, she has been sold. I know, I know terrible, but the financial strain was too much I'm afraid.
I had tried all sorts of ideas, garage (which I don't have) rented, yeah right £800 per year, that was a bit less than the cost per year to keep her on the road. I sold the car to a dealer, who loves these cars and quoted a good price for a 20 year old car.
I would like to thank you all, for your advice on the various problems I had, especially Mark, them bolts were right on.
Kermit, who never seems to age, looking good mate. I wish you all the best for future and happy motoring.

What did i do? Moved it out of the way so i can get to work on my 2a.
Which now runs, by the way. The back box wasn't so lucky though and now leaks along the seam 🙄
Wonder if it's fixable? It's brand new :(

The oil leak underneath is now considerable. I think the sump gasket is weeping and it isn't even that old. I did find the rear cam-cover bolt up by the bulkhead was loose so have given it a smear of Hylomar and tightened it back down. I hope that's what was causing oil to drip down the join with the gearbox.

Smear of gungum or run a weld down it if it isn't made of tin foil....
