Is this any help ? Picture found on https://classicsworld.co.uk/cars/road-test-range-rover-vogue-se/

Shows the cruise cable to front, although no guarantees it's correct..

Am i right in saying the accelerator cam isn't round, but the cruise cam is?
Not sure - this is the best I can find in my photos so far, but they look to have different stop points . radii - maybe because with cruise only engaging above 30ish mph the throttle will already be open a bit?
Can't go and look, he's got his heavy cover on and it is very gusty out there today too.

Of course I put Otto back together as he was when we took him apart - it would be possible for someone to have previously reversed the cables and me not know.

Just looked at RAVE. Yes - they have at some point been reversed.
Both engines, throttle is bulkhead side, cruise is radiator side.
Adjuster for throttle sits towards the wing side of the bracket on the GEMS, cruise adjuster sits on the engine side.

No, the cruise is towards the bulkhead, at least in my 99 NA car. Look at the photos. Zoom in. I am pulling on the cruise control cable and the cam that is raised is the one nearest the bulkhead.

Unbuttoned him a bit a few days ago, enough to empty the dehumidifier and put the protected new exhaust bits in him. Buttoned him back up under his cover until the garage can fit the bits.

Fitted new internal chrome door handles as the one on the drivers side the return spring had snapped, and it was always sticking out. Was just going to replace the broken one but they wanted £20 for one black one or £40 for a set of 4 chrome on the bay of flea.

Nuffin interesting, repaired the N/S indicator latch that holds the unit in place and fitted new microswitches to my spare door lock.

My brother and I replaced the front rotors and pads on my 2008 L322 SC. Two hours work from getting out the tools to putting them away. Pretty straightforward job except we had to use a 3 jaw puller to get one of the rotors off. Using Pagid rotors and Bosch pads. Will see how they work out. Purchased from Rock Auto for $300 CAD. Plus taxes and shipping a total of $360. They shipped the rotors the same day I ordered them. Pads took longer to arrive. Going to do the rear tomorrow if not raining too hard.
God save the King.

Nice long drive again today. Big jump in mpg, last run was 30 on the dash, this time 36, same route, same speed, same load.. is it getting better for a few long runs, or is that summer diesel? It's a big jump!! Not done a brim to brim recently but assume the dash would be consistent, regardless of accuracy

Think my battery is goosed. Unlocked, opened up, voltage was 12.0v :( that's without turning ignition on.
That's after a couple of full charges off a charger and a few hours driving
