Spent the morning trying to figure out what is causing a sort of " thump" and vibration that seems like something is out of balance on my 2008 full size SC. Jacked up each wheel and could find nothing loose. Drive shafts seem fine. Got all 4 wheels off the ground and ran the car. It didn't like that and didn't help with the diagnosis. Rotated tires front to back and that made no difference. Problem does not appear immediately when you start out. Seems like something needs to warm up a bit. Last resort before going to a dealership is to have a tire shop re-balance all tires and check for out of round.

Is it a slightly dragging brake, that needs a bit of heat to grab?

Discs looked OK. I would swear it was the center steady bearing on the rear driveshaft but could not get a wiggle out of anything. Will see what happens after re-balance of the wheels. One wheel weight fell off when we rotated the wheels so I would not be surprised to find others missing. Thanks for the suggestions.

Tret me sen to one of them thar FM transmitters off the bay, only a fiver. Must say I'm quite impressed so far. Phone blue toothed no problem. Loaded some of my favourite albums to a USB stick and plays them OK. Infact was so happy went for a run listening to some decent soul music:):)

Hey man - sorry to hear this; but muchos kudos for taking the lad on an adventure holiday.

Those battery clamps you put on look gucci AF, would you mind posting a link?

Sorry to hear that. I've been married long enough with enough up and downs that I could handle her walking but I would hate not having my lad around.

Poor Lewis, hiked out of school and away from his friends and his brothers, hope the boys can deal with it.

@Jayridium I got the battery terminals from Amazon.fr. I'm sure they'll be available on Amazon UK as well ;)

Sure are :)
