Many thanks for the offer.
I'm normally on the last minute to be honest due to family commitments but for sure, good to know the offer is there!
Cheers!
No problem. I used to do either Hull-Rotterdam or Harwich-Hoek van Holland in the days of the hi-speed catamaran service.

I used to go to beverley quite a bit in my younger years. Had family living in Walkington.
Right on my doorstep and, coincidentally, I'm out this evening with friends from Walkington. If you get a strong tail-wind en-route to Hull one day, give me a shout and we'll have a coffee near the marina...so nice and close for you checking in.

Out for a proper run today, put £30 of pez in it ;)

Went to Queens wood for a good walkaround.. ;)

MPG is pretty good for town work and some A road action.

Being it's a 4.6 V8 and being driven by someone with Lead feet that isn't bad..
Considering my TD5 did 20 :(:D

Oooo shes pretty. I absolutely love that blue. BMW do a blue like that on the 330s I always wished it was that colour.
My td5 wasnt too bad on juice I just didn't get on with the rest of it

Suppose I better finally go do some work.
Got 4 brake pipes to do (not on the rr) and I absolutely hate brake fluid. So I went and got more blue things and probably look even more like iv stolen a rangie :D
For the eagle eye phone spotters I'm fully on private land

It is a BMW colour, Monte Carlo Blue ;)

Night and day difference between this and the d2 :)

Hows life with the L322, whats it like compared to your old RR's?

;)

Cheers!

Estroil is the one I thought of. My 330 was velvet blue like purple it was stunning colour.

My options l322 wise was either this silver one or there was a black one and a dark grey.

Black one was similar priced similar miles but no gearbox history at all
Grey one was near 2k more but had suspension and gearbox history.

Trying to decide and the owner of this one had not shut the tailgate properly and drained the battery and now it had a suspension fault offered to knock a bit off if I was still interested.

Silver was my last choice

P38 wise absolutely loved my coil sprung auto even though it needed a flex plate and bellhousing before I could drive it.
2nd and 3rd was manual loved the motors but on certain hills round here it struggled and had to go back to 1st where the auto would hold itself on the torque range.
Plus via sd1s and p38s and 3 d2 boxes iv a real hate for the r380 box never come across one that is fine.
My d2 was just a cheep work motor so I didn't use another bm for work that ended up being a chassis swap after the lump went bang I got rid.
Since the 4x4 got used more then the car i started looking to replace the d2 got an offer of 800 and took it without hesitation.
L322 wise I'm as besotted with it as I was my 1st p38.
The only one thing I can say I much prefer is the smaller steering wheel and slightly sharper feel to the steering on the road.

Thirsty compared to the P38s?
Such and such the same. I think my red auto showed a consistent 24mpg (but it had a psi box so they lie then)
This was showing 21 22mpg I wanted to leave it over 1000miles go get an idea but I had dials out the other night with my temp needle :(.
Its showing 17 at the moment over the last 68miles since they've been out but thermostat change and viscous change I left it running for 30mins to make sure its balance its heat and keep cool after being run. And 4 mile out and in the road cold running each time.
It may have a long day tomorrow on road depending if I can be bothered.
Down to kirkcaldy 130miles with trailer empty car to bring up to ellon 100miles. Then ellon to ballater 60miles empty then ballater to home 75miles with a car then down to ellon to pick up the x5 and back home 40miles round trip..

Carried on my argument with the EAS ECU. I'm getting closer to a resolution and will actually post what's what when life settles down.

Currently I have all 4 corners down to roughly where they need to be. I log the settings to the ECU, close the software and every single time..... Without fail..... BOOM. EAS fault. No matter what I do , it reverts back to the settings that are about 7cm too high. My discussion with Rita the Rangie continues for another day.

Tomorrow she is getting a chance to stretch her legs on a return drive from Aberdeen to London. Fingers crossed all goes well!

That sounds like you are trying to write settings that are out of range, so it reverts to defaults.

I'm almost there thanks to the helpful tips so far. Annoyingly I can only get highway height to 46cm from axle to arch and then anything lower than that throws a fault. I'm vexed. Rita wins for today.

Any recommendations for a set of p38 shock absorbers that are a reasonable price, and how easy hard are they to replace?

If you are going to have the heated steering wheel on you might at least got hold of it in the right place to feel the heat sir.
