Did you mix it with the fuel then? Not yet, she's pretty clean anyway, just want to give her the best chance for the MOT emissions test!

yepDid you mix it with the fuel then?
I used to squirt it neat into a "gummed-up" carb. Certainly cleaned out a load of crap! You need good dose with a P38. Amount on back is per tank but most tanks are not 100L
Does data from the o2 sensors, along with fuel trim give any clue if you'll pass emissions? I'm guessing if you're like me and don't have any cats it won't help

They make a right mess on the lawn!!
Why ?Drove it to the north of Holland.
The LPG system Slaves off the petrol injection system, so if it isn't running right on Pez, then it on't be quite right on LPG either. When my MOT is being "done", on unleaded won't pass emissions threshold, but on LPG, she's as clean as a whistle. If you arrive at MOT running on LPG, that's what they'll test it on when hooked-up to DVLA on computer. This afternoon's bit of useless info for y'all!
I follow the logic, but, at MOT station, it failed on petrol, flipped the switch to LPG and it passed with flying colours. The LPG system Slaves off the petrol injection system, so if it isn't running right on Pez, then it on't be quite right on LPG either.
Always nice to improve annoying stuff like that. STILL haven't got round to silencing the screechy brake pedal spring-a-ling though.Sides off top of dash off took binicale out.
Slight pull on the temp gauge. It was noticable closer to the dial backing compared to the rest.
Pulled needle out slightly on the shaft
Clipped back together and back in.
I know the gauge is never that accurate as its buffered to display without moving about and being as bmw as it is it probably wont move until it's over 105°
But it was annoyingView attachment 202574

I like idea of bin bag... I've taken the kick panel" trim off, but my back/neck/shoulder/elbow and itchy nose makes it difficult to get to the root of the problem. Adding a placcy bag into equation may just work...stopping my nose itching! My first p38 red auto had a squeaky brake pedal it was so annoying.
The 2 manual ones always had a clutch noise that was annoying.
Ended up putting a black bag in the foot well and spraying spray grease for fun
Work.Why ?
The bag was only so I didn't fully get it over the carpet. Lent up and sprayed heaps on everything that moved. It worked hahaI like idea of bin bag...
