Gave it a waaash as it was bogin.
Poor puppy. Fancy washing off the familiar smells of his siblings and mother, not a good idea.:( He would settle much better if he could still get comfort from their smells, they might not appeal to us but they are his/her 'comfort blanket'.

Is there a better type of one to buy or are they much the same and no point looking around just buy cheap?
ROCKER ARM COVER GASKET STC4177

Sorted the squealing belt changed the Fan Belt Tensioner Ram and the 2 belts air con and belt fan, quiet as a mouse now, just got to do the rocker cover gasket, seems I have a leak coming from the top of it

Depends if you want to do it again, I guess. It isn't a job I want to revisit in a hurry. There's a half-moon shape at the back which is hidden under the bulkhead so you have to refit by feel as you cannot see it. Bit of a PITA. A bit of RTV glue to hold it in place might be an idea as it is determined to move as you try to get the rocker cover pushed back under. Took me 3 goes before I was happy, IIRC. Remember to clear out the mesh in the rocker cover. You'll be amazed how gummed up it is.

Don't fancy doing the arm they r strong as an ox. The tensioner pulley on mine is the noisy one. I went round the pulleys and spray them one at a time with a water bottle (keep away from the fan and don't wear a tie!) will try to clean existing one up when I change the belt, and keep old belt as emergency spare. Too cold now so I'm just collecting new parts til the weather breaks

Check the arm isn't cracked. Seems to be a common failure point.

Only if you over centre it improperly like a rampant caveman when changing belts. Providing it is free on it's pivot and the correct method is used little damage can occur. Although a modified stronger unit has been available for some time. So there must have been some issue with the old item.

Are you saying Rick is some sort of neanderthal who attacks everything with a hammer?
