Rubbish, the only people who say that are people who make money pushing their exercise programmes. More people die while exercising than die sitting in front of the TV. o_O

The bloke who made jogging popular dropped dead at 50 doing guess what? :D:D

I wonder where you got those figures from? Lack of regular gentle exercise as opposed to work outs or jogging and you will end up needing a zimmer to stay upright when you are old, most likely have high blood pressure at rest and be prone to strokes or heart attacks, fags booze and burgers don't help either.

After much hesitation and nervous wringing of hands, today I bit the bullet, after replacing the cylinder head,( see "what a pratt") I needed to adjust the injector pump to bring down the quantity servo to near 50% (it was 86%) I followed the instructions that I have read on here and, using my Nanocom got the figure down to 52%.My average fuel consumption after the head work was down to 18.6mpg .after a 50 mile run up the Motorway to Lancaster ,it is showing an average of 25.4mpg.Well impressed so far.

Played with the exhaust cut one of my cats off to replace it with a straight pipe only to find out where I measured and where I cut is a different size oh well. And the cat hasnt broken up either so plan B.

I had x2 new manifold to cat gaskets sitting here so removed the cats completely and refitted the originals just as well I did one of the gaskets has blown out completely.

Will order up some more ss pipe for cat removal for another time, all back together and I go checking for leaks only to find a whopping great hole in my centre box DOH iv a spare one sitting here but decided to fit my straight pipe instead for the time being gave it a good rev and noticed lots of bits from the internals of the rear boxes spitting out on the drive way.

Oh the joy.

Will try and install the android unit tomorrow if weather allows

She's been laid up in MIL's garage since March. Reconnected battery and started first spin. Chuffed.
Only ailments were one flat rear tyre which killed my 12v compressor getting it to 15psi (10 years old from halfrauds so can't complain) and my aircon appears to be out of gas. Not ideal when I've got to drive 400 miles this afternoon and it's way over 30 degrees already!
I'll try and get it regassed in Germany next week ready for the journey back
Hoping its just leaked out from being stood. Was working fine in March.

That android system looks great/

Just how obsolete is the carin II system?

I have the 2011 disc.

Is it worth usuing or is/will it be useless?

Well its all in and working including steering wheel controls will see how it all goes and if I'm happy with it all I will fit one of these in my centre dash panel and reinstall it

Shouldn't lose gas. Check the condenser!
Condenser was new last year. I'm thinking that maybe being laid up has allowed the pump seals to get dry and it's weeped out over time. That or the evap is shot. Who knows. I'll try getting it regassed and see if it passes the leak test.
