Fitted new ABS accumulator - thats improved things greatly!
Fitted new steering damper - thats got rid of the steering creak i've had since i got it.

Off to get air con re-gassed tomorrow....well, hopefully just a re-gas & not a condenser...fingers crossed

Had new tyres today and the aircon re-gassed, then drove home with a grin on face :D - ok - they have thier faults, but what a wonderful Landy. A true classic in the making!

Just had air con re-gassed at Halfrauds. Took best part of 2 hours for them to tell me the compressor must have gone as the temp isn't dropping. Get in to drive off, the air con light is on (which of course means the air con is off). Switch it on & hey presto....cold air. Now you might expect this of this chain but the thing is......the guy who did it had a '98 4.6 HSE

If they did not charge you, that would be a bonus :D Anyway, got new 17 inch wheels with tyres then washed the Rangie today, thought about taking off the belt tensioner but it is far too warm, so sitting in the garden soaking up the rays:cool2:

Steam cleaned , wash and wax +windows
And another steam not so hot this time .D

17" wheels? That's an odd size, usually 16" or 18"

Had to check the wheel size, yeah, they are 17" wheels in great nick with the Landy centre caps & fitted with 235/65/17 Goodyear Wrangler tyres with plenty of tread.

Swapped tyres back to front so I have 2 near new Rodian Roadstone on the front and No more tramlining, always best tyres on front in my experience.

My car is hot inside, blend motors really screwed up, only hot no matter what, found the lower vents blocked with sponges.

Ordered Lynx diagnostic kit, 4 airbags, filters, oil etc.

If the tyre wear is uneven between front and rear, it will stress the VCU.
