2 days have changed the brake modulator for a TC one ,done a full brake bleed then ended up with a airbag fault no SRS fault ...Turned out that one of the 2 bulbs in the dash had failed next a full wash ........maybe not..:)

Parts not come 2day, still waiting then I will be replacing the fuel line and washers and filter.... nice time to do it, freezing cold

removed the drivers side headlight and fitted a recon headlight ecu to it now have lights that work every time.

Changed auto box filter and oil. Note to self: work out how you are going to get the oil back in before you start the job...........

Hi

If the auto fluid is in a plastic container, create a hole near the top of the container.

The hole needs to be JUST big enough to insert some plastic tubing. Insert one end of the plastic tubing into the container (it's best to place the end as close as possible to the bottom of the container), insert the other end into the gearbox, transfer case, auto trans or diff etc. - obviously use the correct fluid :)

Now just squeeze the container and the fluid will flow through the tube into the transmission or any other location to where you place the open end of the plastic tube.

Regards

Peter

Been on a course all week so not been near the RR at all. Just got in it, turned the key.......... And it fired first time. relief!!

Now ready to play in the snow.......if the forecasters are correct!! Won't be holding my breath though!

Changed the fuel line and filter, filter was quite mucky when I took it out, and sorted the problem with the air going in to the line, looks like it was a few rubber O rings in the end

When driving my p38 last night I wound the window down and it dropped right down and would not wind up.

Investigated today - the motor and quadrant were OK :) , but an arm had broken off the winder mechanism

A spot weld had failed. Took it off and welded it back on. God it was cold outside!

Winder and motor were replaced about 5 years ago.

Found out the very noisy squeak from back brakes due to a lip developing on the disc, Buxton 4x4 will grind out whilst on vehicle at very reasonable cost. Also found out that handbrake can be adjusted after a Macclesfield garage said that they are unadjustable! Doh! What a pile of doggy dooooo's some people make up to get money out of you, only had R/R for a few months, still learning, my old 2A was much easier even if the rear diff did nearly squash me!
Any ideas on why bluetooth stopped with my phone? The venture cam still works, so the R/R bluetooth does, but Apple have upgraded the bluetooth! Very frustrating

Stripped all bar one exterior panel and 2 doors off to see how much the rot worm has eaten. Needs new arches X4, new sills new front footwells and a couple of body mounts so not to bad.

Apple have a track record of this. Recently with the roll out of iOS6 a lot of devices stopped working with Netgear WiFi gear. Apple never accept they are to blame though so don't expect a fix any time soon. To test if it is Apple at fault, try it with any other phone in the world that has Blueteeth that isn't an Apple.

Try Apple maps if you want to get dangerously lost:rolleyes:

I'll pass thanks. Even the icon for Apple Maps shows the directions sending you off an overpass.

The two choices are replace your Netgear equipment (useless if you use your phone anywhere that has Netgear. A lot of hotels and such) or go to an Apple store and get one of their dip****s to roll it back to iOS5. Apple refuse to acknowledge that it is their fault so will not fix the problem.
