Yay new 'stat fitted. Gen Landy part. It is nice being able to get heat into the engine again, but more importantly, nice being able to get heat into my face. **** me it gets hot with the heaters on full.

I went out and checked the fluid levels, it seems to be continent at the moment. I then spent half an hour standing on the pavement, scratching my beanie hat, trying to track down a new chuffing sound in the engine bay. Oh well, back to the forums:(
 
Put 16" wheels on instead of the 18s. Checked front wheel alignment and all seems OK. Tried adjusting steering box but doesn't seem to have made much difference despite the center hex screw being fully tight
 
Into Town and picked up some new net curtains then she had an Egg Nog latte and I had a Caramel Cream Frappachino....home and hung curtains!

UK coffee was always disgusting, sounds like it's got even worse in the 12 years since I left the UK:rolleyes:
You ain't got me a Christmas present, apart from the wife, no one buys me a Christmas present:D
 
Fitted new mirror glass, was a pig to get the broken one back off, but it is nice being able to see out the back again. Will have to go for a test drive to tweak the mirror, but CBA right now.

I am also very temped to change the 'stat back. It is nice the engine gets up to temp, she runs much smoother, but my days, I just cannot get it cold enough in the cab for my liking. Even 18C feels too damn hot. D:

Aircon is not working or you could freeze your nuts off.
 
Changed auto box filter and oil. Note to self: work out how you are going to get the oil back in before you start the job...........
