Followed a mate towing an old Mahogany boat with his old Disco 1. :D

Couldn't believe how far the rear suspension dropped when we hooked up the trailer the rear wheels were almost in the arches

Half way up a steep'ish Dinemore hill he had to pull over due to almost cooking his old 300tdi too much weight! :(

So we had to swap, dropping the trailer onto my towbar saw the back of my Rangie sag, old mate looked well smug "ha ya air suspension ain't that clever" etc

10secs later the valveblock went "click click" and the rear levelled out ;):D

Should of seen his face!;)

She pulled it up the rest of the hill, engine screaming + the VC on my fan locking so it sounded like an aeroplane from the front and a TVR from the back :D

As i crested the hill I suddenly remembered my mate mentioning the trailer brakes didn't work so i arrived at the otherside with my brake discs glowing with over 3 ton on the arse end! :D

There are times EAS is a lifesaver :D

Erm.
If there's no trailer brakes how did you swap if you were on a steep hill? lol guessing it wasn't a very busy road!!

Drove it for the last time for 2 weeks. My son was told to self isolate for 2 weeks cos he'd spoken to someone at work who had covid, he tested positive on his first day back at work so now were all self isolating.
I hope he didn't get it from me or the missus

It's getting close to a lot of people. We are feeling the net closing in too. Hope all goes well for your son and family.
Tricky.

If you're under 35 there's almost no risk. After that the risk increases steeply each year. By tge time you're over 65 and male you're really starting to gamble. So his son should be fine.

I have a heart condition and Type 2 diabetes so I guess I've had it :D
