ha well no more driving again for 2 weeks. Last week one of my brothers came to see me, not seen him since Christmas, then over the week end I start to feel off it. Monday his wife phones to say he's just tested positive for covid 19. I have now lost all sense of smell and ache like f*ck. Had my test today and will know within 48 hours. Ho the joys of once again being in lock down.

That sense of smell is pretty conclusive. Hopefully you only got a mild dose or aren't affected much. 80% of people aren't that bad.

@Mark Piercy who is Cameron with the pen? Love the method you make it look simple no doubt you have second pair of hands

I figured that as I'm gonna be doing the water pump, then would be a good time to replace my manky expansion tank. So ordered one off LRDirect.
Bit late now but if you take the old one off it will clean up good. Mine was impossible to see through at first. Clean it up and sell it on

crazy thing is I feel fine lol
Probably because you are still better than before
5th times the charm :D
he will do anything to get back in there with those nurses :p

So... whose the daddy? Heart attack number 5, 8 stents soon to be 9 see you all soon, crazy thing is I feel fine lol

One of my work-colleagues had a heart attack this week. 2 stents and he's not even 40 yet.

Welp, got my insurance renewal. Flux wanted 520, best offer was 470 after I called them. I could get it for 190 with admiral (no breakdown or key cover though) or take the average price on a comparison website of 250 which has all the same cover... not exactly a hard call here. A shame really, the days of loyalty are long gone aren't they? I've been with Flux for 9 years.

I change insurers every year without fail.

Tbh, for the first few years, Flux couldn't be beaten. 500odd when everyone else wanted 1-2k. Then for 5odd years every renewal window I was overseas so couldn't call them. This has been my first year in the UK in years and it seems I'll have to get used to being a jumper.

A quick testdrive was in order I gingerly took her up and down a duel carriageway hoping to not hear the dreaded "beep beep" of the car telling me it has yet another fault..

All was well..

even exiting a roundabout I had some ****ty boy racer in a corsa come up the side of my on a roundabout and cut me up, the ****a..

A poke of the S and some right pedal saw the old P38 float past, amazing seeing that I was barely going past 3k and he must of been screaming the shizzzle out of his corsa, all done up it was too with 1/4 inch or ground clearance and KFC bucket rims.

Hopefully my EAS stays happy for a little while!
