I managed to make my front left wiring situation much worse. Saw what I though was a break in the wire, so I cut it to patch it. I then realised that the whole left front went out (yes I was working hot). Turns out what looks like the earth for the LH inboard, served the whole cluster. Which in itself doesn't make sense. As I was of the understanding P38 used negative switching for bulbs.

Then a thought occured, well several. Really. 1, I could setup a temporary across vehicle earth to the RH inboard so when I can get though the MoT for now. It'll still say light fault, but the light will work which is fine. But since I am having what I can only assume is a loom issue on the LH side of the vehicle, what are the odds that that is also the reason for my ABS fault? I can the best test would be to switch the ABS sensors left to right with a diag on and see if the fault remains LHF wheel station... ahh, damn aging Land Rovers.

Looks like that bulb is just about to be inserted...

It is more it is easy to find plate online to clone, or if someone wants to stalk you. Obviously in person sure anyone can steal your digits, but you can at least minimise it. Plus I recall a guy who crashed his car and then police started trawling forums, saw he posted braggy stuff about how much of a racing driver and decided it was proof he must've been driving badly on the day and was an excuse for prison time.

Well I do wear some sexy undies. They make my ass look good. ;)
For the information of all forum member's there is a shortage of mirrors in Shrewsbury. :p:D

Just watched the alarm go off again, guess my suspension has decided to sit down again. Time for some diagnostics :)

Still didn't get my new tyres on EVEN THOUGH I did the really hard bit holding the bulb for Bix. Got him drunk instead though :D

Well after my concerns of diff noise
Changed the diff oil late last night and at 6am set off.
Did 400 mile towing today, Clean forgot about it
All went well it behaved and no noises.
Some idiot (me) didn't do what he did last time and latch the boot so it thought it was shut.
So for the 7hours I was there,
Near every rear wheels change about 15-20mins intervals opened boot to get juice and impact gun and opening passnager door phone out glove box and yes you've guessed it,
killed the battery.
Oh well jump start and up the road never missing a beat.
Used a heap of fuel 19.7mpg it was reading.
All in all a good day and old faithful behaved as did the car too.
