All done along with new spot light bulbs

Everything is betterer :)

‘Cept the gearbox plug but it’s had fresh oil.

Made all the difference, is quieter more powerful better mpg and doesn’t cut out anymore - (Once really hot summers day)
still not had to buy FIP/lift pump.

Just finished stripping the rear axle ,didnt realise that "mechanics" bolted rust back on, if it comes loose (2 x 6mm setscrews and 4 penny washers to hod on the rear disc guard. The pipework over the tank I cannot see but its not fastened to anything ,it just waves about.I wish I could take photos to put on just for the entertainment value. Are there any joints before the fuel tank? (its full) . I am thinking of running new pipes along the chassis rails, where I can see them.

I'm told there are joints at the bottom of the firewall, not seen them, I made a new joint. There are, or should be, clips holding the pipes to the floor pan above the cross member. I believe there is a difference between early and late cars.

Thanks Gents I shall look for them after I have de crudded the underside applied the necessary acid wash and painted and removed those squiggly things
