Write down ANR number for Grrr he will know what system it is. He retro fitted rear wheel TC to his
 
ALWAYS undo the filler plug FIRST!

If you are thinking “my gearbox doesn’t overheat il leave alone” you should be fine :D
Otherwise, you’ll need to get Brian to selfisolate in your garage for while and stock up on custard creams ;)

Not all p38`s have traction control early ones did not, my DSE does not, never sean the TC light on dash as there is not even a bulb in there.
 
None of my p38s had tc and never had a light in the dash all was 1996 registered.
All dse spec 1 auto 2 manual.
 
Looks like a smart motor, with the early three pleat leather too!
Aye it had suffered flex plate failure when I got it.
Few electrics had been bodged up for example a broken wire by the handbrake so someone had put the window switches on toggle switches.
Usual story with me it was cheep

I think the bulb is probably there, mine was; it just won't be used unless TC is fitted.
 
Can someone tall me how/where this fits into the door? I think its something to do with the window, but I don't know how/where to fit it, I don't think its ever been fitted, its all bent up so much have been off the car for a long time
