Actually did some work to it yesterday, finished body welding and refitted fuel tank. Hopefully boot floor can go in today but I need to pop to screwfix and get some olives for the fuel pipe fittings

I guess that explains why it takes a while to get warm in the morning!!!

And what a PITA it is to change a bloody fan belt on these!!! (Tools modified as appropriate!!!)

Yeah, you're not selling the newer model to me!

Cut a power box out of a DHSE..
Changed the gearbox oil..

I hate remapping..

The oil was like pond water..

Shifts alright though, hopefully it isn't completely ruined.

Not trying to!
There's pros and cons to all of them.
I still love the p38 but for daily motorway driving the L322 is far superior in my opinion.
Yes - by miles - get over 30mpg out of my 4.4 and superb luxury.
Bloody good off-road too - but a tad expensive to maintain when taken through the mud. :(

Changed front wiper blades for Bosch aerowotsits, went to do the back one and my tailgate button don't work no more. Bollocks.

Might get lucky switching the ignition off at the right moment. Of course, you still won't be able to open the boot.

The wiper isn't so bad I can't live with it for a while. And the tailgate will have to wait a fortnight until I can look at it.

I washed the car the other day. 3 days later you'd never have known. There's so much flooding and mud around that the spray coats the car in hours.

Have you somewhere dry to park overnight? Stick a slab of cardboard under the back - will show any drips (or possibly cats **** if in street)
Only other thing I would say is make sure it’s greased/fluids topped up, if it ain’t dripping will last til weather dries in few months.
