I have 20s on my L322 and they don't feel harsh to me. Mind you it did have 22s on when I bought it.
On a P38 maybe but not on a L322. Have not driven it yet with the new wheels on but lad says it handles very well.
Sure the handling will feel more precise but the roads are pretty harsh and I prefer a bit more cushioning. Mind you, I am running 18" on my P38 most of the time.
It's just you Enery, Thing's you people get up to in Herefordshire.Finished up a new sill on a 94 softdash.
Anyone else found that the fine art that is welding is like trying to shovel butter into a badgers arse with a soldering iron ?
or is it just me
Right, two bits of good news today.
New plugs on the way and i'm going to change the LPG filters whilst I've got access (Been sitting on the shelf for 6 months!!)
- The plugs all look more or less the same so i don't think i have a dodgy coil which is a relief at 70 quid a pop!!!
- When i took the inlet ducts off for access, the rubber insert on one of them was badly seated so my hope is that i had an air leak and that was the major cause of my issues (Just hope it's not damaged the CATS)
Now time to have a look why the horn doesn't work.
1mm gap quoted in manual. I didn't have my feelers to hand yesterday so measured them with 5 pieces of 0.2mm shim steel and they are slightly big but by no means excessively so.Are they supposed to have a gap you can drive a bus through?
That's what I thought , but its years since I've changed plugs, another plus for weasels Enery. Are they supposed to have a gap you can drive a bus through?

I agree, they did look massive when i took them out although, there is a fine pin that sticks up on the centre electrode which you might not be able to see on the pic
No, It's 1.0mm specified not 1.1mm0.044" or 1.10 mm, all i can say is a mm must have got bigger with inflation.
No, It's 1.0mm specified not 1.1mm
Don't get snotty, i was just pointing out that it's not 1.1mm but 1.0mm. Yes, it won't make any difference in the real world but it's still not right.Ok 0.039" then. I am sure the extra 0.005" makes a big difference.

As to the conversion to thou, again, who cares?!?!?!
Knowledgable as you are, you are still a grumpy old toad!!!!
As above, I think you need to stop justifying yourself when you get called out on something!!Think you need to develop a sense of humour.
Think you need to develop a sense of humour.
Did you say that with your fingers crossed ?
