Coming home across the mountain road, was busting for a pee, so decided to slip off-road across a mountain track. Was much steeper, deeper, wetter and ruttier than I anticipated in the dark.
Once tyres bogged up the back end started kicking out considerably, coopers couldn’t cope as much as the insas. Bit of spin but not bad for road-pressures

Main thing is me and the dog got to have a pee in time :)
pics of the mud to follow when it’s light

Got both ABS and TC lights on, had to back to the garage who did the ABS sensor a few months back and they don't think it is a sensor again, but instead maybe the ECU, but all his diagnostic couldn't comprehend the information, kept losing voltage to the sensor.

But then I was thinking, the ECU is behind the glovebox and I have had a leak through the fans that ever time it rained resulted in a puddle in the foot well. What are the chances some water got inside the ECU and toasted it?

It’s possible, they are known to go from time to time, and if you’ve had a leak there it would explain its misbehaviour now that the weather has turned?
I’d check the simple stuff and try a diagnostic first....perhaps you can try getting a whiff of it see if it smells burnt?

The only LR specialist round here with a Testbook is about 30 minutes away, and are 70 quid an hour. But haven't got any slots until end of the month.

I've got RAVE on my old laptop so I am planning on pulling aparts the glovebox/dash to see if I can spy any signs of wetness and/or escaped witches. Obviously I need to fix the leak before I replace the ECU though, otherwise I am just ****ing in the wind.

Have a check of the brake switch is st as per Rave to rule that out.

I have a problem, the wife was at the allotment and locked herself out of the car, she borrowed a phone from a cabby (I'm at Heathrow we have LOTS of them parking up) anyway she borrowed the phone from one of them to ask me to bring the spear key for her car, I jump into the P38 (no beeps or messages on the dash) went to open the o/s/f window, and get the beep and message that it needs resetting (but only when I go to open it, not close it) and it wont open at all, you think its the motor buggered?
