I have one lined up as we speak. My auto box is funny on the upchange on 2-3rd, Lucas tranny fix worked 100% for 3 years but it's returned now. Doesn't do it on manual over ride though

That is common for old 4hp22's...

While I had some paint in the can i decided to repaint my slam panel, as it's rough scratched etc and the paint is peeling..

So i peeled the paint off ;)

Stripped the front off.

Masked off the sticker and cut around to ensure no peeling paint.

Done.

How many miles do you do? 3 years at 10k , 30k, I would change the filter and fluid and put some more lucas in anyway...
If its still sticky after that, drain some out and put some more lucas in after six months. It'll free it up if it is sticky valves. (Well it did mine!)

It’s only the solenoid you need if that’s same?

Probably better sending back and getting new unit. Think I mentioned mine was a 6series scrapper job works/fits

Not sure. Got too much junk as it is. Offered it to someone with a V8 but he wasn't interested so back it goes.

Finally got round to replacing the dash bulbs. Not had a working MFD for a long time, and since I am pacing around like an expectant dad for the parts place to open, I had to do something. I also found a lot of bodges behind the dash, such as the ducting for the heater vents have been badly taped together in the past and 90% of the air escapes behind the dash. I should fix it, but I also cba.

On the plus, it is handy being able to read the MFD again.

Change the pollen filters.

Sat nav looks just like the xgody one I`m thinking about.
I have an Xgody smart phone £35 new, it's excellent, bought one for my wife too. Comes up on my service provider as an Alcatel 311, made by Xgody apparently, they were selling off the old 3G model cheap as production shifted to 4G. As 3G has only just arrived where I am, 4G is of no interest.
