Not checked yet but I don't think it changes the one in the boot so can put the solar charger on that.
On mine, the one in the boot is switched with the ignition, I fitted a second socket in the boot for my solar panel wired direct to the battery via a fuse.

MPG dropped from 30 down to 26 mpg. Hmmm one suspects an FIP seal leak as I saw this happen before. Look underneath once I'm home, wet patch, then drip. Open bonnet look at the lower lozenge shaped cover drip drip drip appears to be on both of them. Bugger. Off to France on 25th May

Need to get my spare FIP refurbished in a hurry and then fitted. Problem is I'm working in Cornwall and my car is in Cheshire. SWMBO will be doing her best by dropping off the FIP off with Diesel Bob on Tuesday.
Anyone want to help me swap in next weekend if it's back from Bob's?:D

Sorry, neither Cornwall or Cheshire are near me and mine's in bits!

I’d love to, and have the kit ....

Test subject , ahem....

but it’s too far from Wales sorry bud :(
You’re more than welcome do it here if you are passing I have the room

I did take some but want a WiFi connection before uploading!

Had to stop for now as I need the clutch lever bushes which means waiting till next week.

Although friction and pressure plate are back on. I did give the flywheel a bit of attention with some wet and dry and brake cleaner before fitting them.

I think currently I'd lose more fuel down the road than I'd use driving! Flat bed only right now hahaha. I don't mind being a test subject :D

You'll definitely need the tool to hold the fuel pump and lock the flywheel. Then there's the adapter and dial guage to set the pump. And socket for the injector pipes as they have to come off. Think that's it. Have you got a beavertail or suitable trailer?
