Once again just drove her to the Rock and back. I suddenly realised, this morning, she hadn't been anywhere since Thursday. This should not be a worry but it struck the fear of RR gods into me. I am still getting used to turn the key and the engine starts. Ahhhhhh bisto..............

Rock in Cornwall?

New seat covers fitted to driver seat and heated seat repaired.

Went off to go get a chipper and some lovely human has hit my mirror thanks assh*le View attachment 127213
Somebody did that to me on Tuesday afternoon but I was sitting in the car. Luckily no damage to mine but the motorhome mirror suffered. It was all taped up so it was not the first time. The passenger folded the mirror back and they drove on, only managed a couple of car lengths as there was traffic backed up from a junction. I had time to get out, lock the door, check my mirror and strole up to the motorhome all the time being watched by the passenger (wife?). I drew level with the drivers door, just shook my head and walked awayI would have loved to hear the running commentary (I'm not the smallest of people):D

Anytime I am forced to park near where assholes can fly past, I push mirrors in on both sides (pedestrians are cocks too).

Today, I didn't drive my Range Rover... I never even left the house. Too worn out knackered with pain & lack of sleep. Maybe do some driving tomorrow

Props on, cross-member, exhaust, centre console (new rubber under-gaitor thingy). New fluid in gearbox and transfer box. She lives again!

Bit of a weird one with the clutch. Pedal very soft. Wouldn't go into gear properly. Bled the slave and some air came out. How the hell did that get in?! Pedal better but still not right. Bled again but this time using an Ezibleed kit. Didn't see any air come out but pedal fixed!

I managed to get air into my slave.

Left it for 10mins with the nipple out. Been fine since.

Got myself the diesel timing kit and adapter thing for dial gauge. Fip change this weekend weather dependant of corse. Probably P down all weekend now:(

It's always ****ing it down in Accrington!

How dare you make derogatory comments about one of the jewels in the crown of northern England? At least in Accy if they get half an inch of snow the place doesn't shut down like your mardy arsed part of the country does, with the perceived blizzard conditions. :p:D:D

They're used to it. If it isn't bl**dy stair-rods it is snowing. Half the kids down here have never seen more than 1 snowflake at once. Mind you, you cannot beat Acrrington bricks.

Best engineering brick you could get totally waterproof and hard as iRon. We have a saying in Accy if you can see the top of the coppice it's going to rain and if you can't see the top it's already raining :D:D:D:D

So home at last. New range rover. Another 1996 2.5 dse manual. Epson green. 170k. Towbar. Creme seats. Black dash black doorcards.
Straight bodywise apart from a dink in the upper tailgate.
Drove 190miles home no worries.
No nasty clonks or noises or shakes or thuds.
Feels alot nicer as a manual then the previous black one.

Few niggles which a trip to the scrappy will sort.
Washer jets dont work.
Rear passanger window dosent work.
Sunroof works but has a switch in the Rooflining so will need to see what's going on there.
Short mot 2months.
Roof lining has its usual sag.
Its currently another ruined rover its on a 2in lift metal coil thingys

It has left of the eas a lot more then my previous its got the ecu. The relay. switches. And in the few spares I got with it Included 4 new height sensors so iv got everything to go back to air with the compressor and valve block I got together to make a start with the previous motor.

It seemed ashame to get rid of the black one but I was never 100% happy with it.
