Washed it for the first time in about 2 years. Never realised the rear wheel archies had gone rusty as it has been hidden under road grime. :( All 4 doors are oxidizing too, white powder everywhere. In fact, the bodywork in general is in turbo clip.

Did a bit of work on the black one,Rangie that is.Two front suspension air bags, one tailgate button , track rod end, steering drop arm to front control arm. Will have a look at the lights tomorrow.

I was having problems with the EAS pump not cutting out and decided it was the cut out switch so went to buy a new one but it was 34 Pounds so i found a second hand valve block on ebay complete in its box but minus pump for 25 quid so ordered that and fitted it today works perfectly and stays up overnight so NRVs ok as well.

Brake pad change today and quick caliper refurb

In the past 24 hours I haven't got round to my cv boot yet just crammed a heap of grease in again for now Tuesday I'm attacking that.

I refitted all the rubbers above the coil springs and well after doing the fronts I am never ever ever having a coil sprung rr again bloody crap idea.

Roll on getting it back on air

Also had to sort a loose wire in the eas coil bodge loom.

Even with the correct rubbers ect all in it still sits 8mm lower drivers side. Even after swapping side to side then back how it was when I started.

Bloody stupid coil crap and Brit part rear shocks was brand new 2week before I got the motor. 1s weaping.
The other bottom joint has play.

Front arb bushes need done too so any recommendations?

Battery not holding charge and only showing 13.2v when running. So maybe I stuffed the alternator? Swapped battery for an old one in the shed. 13.5v running. Arse. Alternator off, swap gubbins for known good one with 13.8v setpoint. Back together and fire up ... 13.3v. Alternator off, gubbins back in. Both batteries must be f*cked but this one at least doesn't need a jump every time. Must be a bank holiday!

Without being too personal, try a set of bathroom scales, may give you an idea why the driver's side sits lower.:D:D. Well done for thinking of returning it to air.;)

Quick question regarding the hatred of coils. Are they any good off road with air? I don't mean pottering round a field. I mean proper off roading. Of the 2 I always thought it would be more sensible to have coils?

Mine sits level stu. And I'm fat bastard :D

If they were supposed to be on coils then that's how they would have rolled out of the factory.

Drove 430 miles in the last 2 days including 4 hours in traffic jams today at about 4mph. 94 litres to fill it (yes it was on fumes but was late for a meeting so no time to stop!) 20.77mpg, I'm happy enough with that for what I was doing.
Strange thing in the traffic, no sign of the temp gauge going up but the idle speed increased by about 150rpm. Is this a normal thing to increase the fan speed to help cooling?
