Just got back from taking mine for its MOT... PASSED not advisories and a very impressed MOT inspector... whooo strangely enough is on this forum but wouldn't tell me his Landy Zone name... :D:D:D

Mine isn't on here as far as I know but it went straight through. An advisory that one of the drag link boots is battered and will need replacing in the near future.

Reconditioned the EAS compressor. Easy enough to do provided you have the correct allen key to take out the con rod. Left the allen keys in the boat, but managed to get the new seal on without any problems. Fitted it back onto the P38a, it didn't seem to pump up the suspension at all. Further inspection revealed that the blue hose was split inside the black joint. Managed to get the old bit out then replace.
All working again as it should. However, it took almost 10 minutes for it to get to standard height. The compressor was pretty hot, could this be due to an empty storage tank?

Sounds like it, that or the compressor isn't quite right ... or is feeding one hell of a leak!

Dont know haha

You must know if the AC is gassed up. If there is no gas in the AC the pressure switch that isolates the compressor clutch is open circuit. So the compressor cannot run. This is recorded as a "compressor open circuit" fault in ECU. For some reason if you leave AC ON it does not put the test book symbol up, if you switch AC off sometimes it does. Bit of an enigma. :);)

Any temp any speed any air position its spot on press the a/c off button and 2mins later the book will come on.

off at the moment just pressed ac off

Still my window regulater new armrests handbrake gator hazard light switch and wiper stalk have came well thats what i asked lad to send and hes sent what hes got so its like a goody bag haha

Tried to change my radius arm bushes but three of the four bolts have seized to the bush inner sleeve. So, all back together and new nuts and bolts ordered. I should have known as I had to cut them out last time, mind you I did assemble them with Copperslip.:)

On later cars, there is a relay between the HEVAC and the compressor so it does not bring up the book symbol if no gas.

Shes a 96 so an earlier car. Ah well just wont press the ac off button for now. Got my new hazard light switch in now the telltale light on it works. new handbrake gator still to do may as well connect handbrake back up too. Cleaned out all air intake hoses with petrol And cleaned out the oil breather round thingy since that was full of gunk from old engine oil mabye how my intercooler clogged in the 1st place. She feels happier smoother and less throttle needed. Got a 2nd hand no 4 injector on its way for 30 quid. If it stops the weap for a while il be happy
