Lol he ment p38s but some of the owners might be too...
Those aren't leaks. They're the patented Land Rover anti-rust technology.
replaced power steering pipe that was one and the engine one is the cracked sump has started weeping again so another dose of epoxie might cure it for another year or so.
Take it off and get it welded, especially the mileage you do in the places you go.
Just got back from taking mine for its MOT... PASSED not advisories and a very impressed MOT inspector... whooo strangely enough is on this forum but wouldn't tell me his Landy Zone name...
Reconditioned the EAS compressor. Easy enough to do provided you have the correct allen key to take out the con rod. Left the allen keys in the boat, but managed to get the new seal on without any problems. Fitted it back onto the P38a, it didn't seem to pump up the suspension at all. Further inspection revealed that the blue hose was split inside the black joint. Managed to get the old bit out then replace.
All working again as it should. However, it took almost 10 minutes for it to get to standard height. The compressor was pretty hot, could this be due to an empty storage tank?
Left it sat for 3days so its probably sulking with me and wont start ha
Well shes not sulking. I have noticed if i dont press the ac off button my book symbol dosent appear on the hevac display.

Dont know haha
On later cars, there is a relay between the HEVAC and the compressor so it does not bring up the book symbol if no gas.You must know if the AC is gassed up. If there is no gas in the AC the pressure switch that isolates the compressor clutch is open circuit. So the compressor cannot run. This is recorded as a "compressor open circuit" fault in ECU. For some reason if you leave AC ON it does not put the test book symbol up, if you switch AC off sometimes it does. Bit of an enigma.
