Drove it, looks like my clutch is on its way out starting to slip if i give it some beans:( not looking forward to that job, box is bigger than me.

Not a problem if you have a level surface and a good trolley jack with a big jacking pad or better still a g/box cradle to fit the jack. When you change the clutch make sure you change the roll pins in the clutch operating fork:)
 
Martyn - what's the prognosis on your slipping liner . . . ?

Still looking at options. Engine is still a smooth as silk (just the noise) so in no major rush. I'm looking at taking it to V8 Developments to possibly do a rebuild on mine - fit top hats & upgrade cam etc.
The MOT tester was a little nervous doing the emissions testing this morning though.
 
Hi Alan, ive got a large blocked paved drive, big jack, and a motor cycle lift i can borrow so not to bad
Its just the size thats the problem may split box and transfer to make it easyer.

Defo split them, the t/box is the problem as it is an awkward shape to balance it on the jack.:)
 
Every so often aye. I've yet to try her out with Tesco Momentum though so that might be the next fill!
 
washed it properly for the 1st time since i got it yes yes iv washed it even polished it used a good thingy product on it last time but to day I

1. washed it with hot water
2. shammyed it down
3. washed it again
4. clay barred the whole car well almost still got the roof todo.
5. washed it again
6. dried it
7. srp the whole car by hand need to get a decent electric polisher.


8. stood back in amasement looks like new. got the black plastic todo tomorrow i use for ever black
 
Got it minging clarted in mud nearly got stuck. Its too low and road tyres ha. Keeps beeping and sayin low screen wash so guess i need to fill it up and check levels for a day of towing tomorrow
 
Changed my gear box mounts for custom made ones ;) trying to chase a vibrating at idle! Vibration is a lot better but still there... Just.

I was getting the low screenwash message too, so I went and bought 5 litres. manual shows the capacity is 6l, but it only took 3l to brim it - the level sensor seems to be slightly enthusiastic . . .
