Is that all you got out ! You ain't trying very hard I usually finish up with twice that amount out lol. When you resemble try the CV joint in several different places in the hub , I found when changing both fronts last year that they went in further to the hub in one place than another in fact one of them was nearly through enough to start the thread so hold the shaft give hub a whack with lump hammer and nut started enough to pull the shaft in, good luckMy up-to-ness

Don't know about the vd struts, but on the standard ones the strut only turned so far hence being handed. With the strut bolt a 2ft breaker bar and as much weight as you can put on it is close (so ft tight!)I'm just hoping I've not knackered the strut. I think i need to take the electrical bit off the top and see what i can see. Fingers crossed I've not killed it
