Likewise on my fusion. Every MOT they get a bit more clarity for a while. Trick is not to rush or rub too hard (stop sniggering at the back) or you can scorch or scratch the surface.Plastic lenses? I polished them on the Jag and they came up like new.
You flatter me!Yes very true but the UK is also not propping the club up with billions of UK taxpayers money which is why the EU are being vindictive. It was all so much easier before the EU but you are probably not old enough to remember that.
The strikes were stopped by joining the EU? That's a new one. EFTA the European Free Trade Area was great. Merkle's 4th Reich is not.You flatter me!
I remember the dark days before the EU very well thanks. Endless strikes, power off almost every night, those were the days eh?!
Anyway, you've clearly made up your mind that there was no benefit from the EU. I can see the loss of those benefits first hand and if it's costing us 100k a year then over the whole country it's costing a damned sight more than the "billions" of UK taxpayer money we were paying. But I guess you will be too old to see that.
EU being vindictive, yeah right. Applying the rules is vindictive now is it. I guess you feel hard done to if you get caught speeding because you think the speed limit is too low anyway.
Let's leave it at that before we fall out over it.
Hydrochloric acid if there are no metal fittings. Gloves and mask needed. Or just leave it be.I've been trying to clean the expansion tank off the scrapper prior to some experimentation. There's some sort of dirt both inside and outside that can be scratched off but doesn't respond to fairy liquid, the dishwasher, citric acid or common table salt (both with boiling water). Leaving a hose connected for 2 hours doesn't shift anything either. Ideas to clean the inside, anyone?!
Have you tried putting it in the dishwasher on a high temp program?I've been trying to clean the expansion tank off the scrapper prior to some experimentation. I had no luck. Tried few methods but nothing worked. It was a little better by the end but not enough to see through it. I checked levels by using improvised dip stick. Only way I know is new tank.Ideas to clean the inside, anyone?!
Hard to get that here in a suitably strong solutionHydrochloric acid if there are no metal fittings. Gloves and mask needed. Or just leave it be.
If we had been given a 3 choice referendum instead of 2 I think it would have been markedly different. The strikes were stopped by joining the EU? That's a new one. EFTA the European Free Trade Area was great. Merkle's 4th Reich is not.
That would work. It's how they clean cement mixers.Water and small stones and shake the bolliks out if it
That takes things back to EFTA but the EU would have none of it, the choice they imposed was in or out.If we had been given a 3 choice referendum instead of 2 I think it would have been markedly different.
Stay in.
Leave.
Rescind the treaties we as voters didn't get a say on (Maastricht and Lisbon) so we were in for trade but not full unification.
I think the majority would have said 3 was a sensible compromise and would have saved a lot of grief all round.
