I found something new out today.
I thought the vents on the A pillars were for air intake, but the actual air intakes at the top of the wing under the bonnet

Got a nice clean one there 👌
Its still minging never got its deep clean as planned the poor thing really, iv been so occupied with work and the drift season its not really been pampered like a range rover for months,
It is a lot prettier with a clean,

Grey ones are in the scrap pile,View attachment 298075
Lovely machine. Must admit my 4.2 definitely thirsty but amazing cruiser. Got mine booked in for new thermostat as it over cools and new rubber hose that runs in the V below supercharger. Not leaking but can garantee it would when on motorway or something with family in car, don’t fancy being at hard shoulder with a 3 year old for hours waiting on Rac.

In how long? If thats longer trips as well itll be getting nice and hot exhaust wise anyway
I've done quite a few long trips, A50, A55 and a couple of decent length M6 trips so yes it's has chance to do decent hot cooks, but my commute is 15 miles with all but a couple of miles over 50, below which it won't regen. That's 3 days a week, plus going to the shops and other local driving

12g, remaining volume 0%

Edit. Actually remaining valine might be 0L, honestly can't remember without checking..
Thats full then i think, Amber dpf light comes on at about 17g, red light about 25g. Check the 4 donut hoses on top of the engine mate as a start, any intake leaks at all and they fill the dpf but it won't allow regen

It's been 12g for as long as I've had the diag, which was April i think
Never 11.9 or 12.1

Hmm diag can force a regen. Maybe i should do that. It will either cook and regen, or it will fail, or maybe it will say pass but not do anything?
I've never been aware of it doing one while driving but i think i should know if it's stationary?

Mines always warmed up quickly that will make a difference to economy and gearchanges and throttle feel,
I really ought to do belts when my genuine pas pump comes but they was done just before i got it so they're just getting reused,
Iv not even thought about the hose under the V,

Service it every 10k and its just had if its running fine leave it alone so is due some of the fussy attention

I have a day off so today I’m hitting it hard. I’ll try to identify why the OBD port isn’t liking the Nano, I’ll take all the plastics off again, charge up the brand new battery again, remove the cluster and check the bulbs again, remove and clean all the connections again. I have a contact standing by with a spare ECU and squib 🤡

I had an issue getting decent contact on the board for the dash lights. I also had to clear the fault with the Nanocom before the light went out. Mine's a '95 without the side impact stuff.

I’ve had all the shrouding oft the A and B posts and it’s coming off again today. I’ve cleaned every connector recommended on the forum. There is no corrosion or water ingress around any of the connectors. It could be as simple as a fault code reset but I cannot get a tune out of the Nano.

Power to OBD might be fuse 5 or 9. One of Tomcat's old posts will say which.
