Took him to the garden centre, BILs, shopping and home. He's currently our everyday car following an astrophysicist who doesn't know left from right cat-N-ing the normal car. Over a week til our regular garage can take it in for the repair after we retained the salvage.
Fuelled him up - mostly stop start urban and moderate speed A road running has given us about mid 16s mpg.

I tell you what…I never ever expected to have a ‘38 on the drive. Despite having to watch the gauges like a 70s Cessna I love the thing. Forget the fact it drinks more than Oliver Reed it really is a weapon. The dog loves it and frankly so do I.

Well if you get the offer just make sure that little orange light is`nt on in the fuel gauge or you might be expected to fill it up ( £140 to fill my 08 3.6 diesel last week !)

That would be about right he does like to run his bemmer down very low i think he gets it from his mum:rolleyes:

Changed the crankcase breather on my td6 after reading post on here the other day. Old foam filter was very tired looking, not to bad of a job, about half a hour, access made easy with pollen filter housing removed and bonnet in service position. Engine does seem to pick up more readily.
