I've used earplugs when i took my 2A to Anglesey.. stopped too much of the blood escaping!!
Not impossible but a lot riskier than normal thermals I imagine. Shocking!Staying with relatives in Canada, I was kitted out with a heated suit for a skidoo trip in minus 35C. Toasty warm but impossible to have a pee.
Hope so i put a £5 er in it ,,so u could buy some midget gems ,as that is the currency on this forumStrike init..... sure to get it later
Can't fault you thereI prefer giving a "tongue-lashing"...if you get my drift
Wafted a very comfortable 190 odd miles towards the big smoke, no faults with engine, gearbox or suspension issues.
Wish the same could be said for the speedo, which is accurate by a GPS check up to 20mph, under reading by about 10mph from there to 65ish, then only about 2 to 3 mph slow.
I'm wondering if we've got some corrosion issues somewhere in the systems. That don't sound right. Should be pretty accurate. There are some pots on the back of the instrument cluster that can act up and affect speedo readings. Maybe soneone tried tweaking them in the past?
I had a bmw that had a crack in an abs sensor and when it rained the speedo would jump about as you describeWafted a comfortable almost 200 miles home again. So relaxing to drive.
Speedo error appears to be reducing with use, he had been laid up for about 6 weeks so guessing corrosion and damp are part of the issue.
Overall for 400 miles, including around 30 minutes stationary and cold start bits during maintenance we're happy with 21.3mpg too.

Hope it goes smoothly for you, having just done Otto's rear air springs. They were both challenging, although had likely been in place for upwards of 12 years. On the bump stops again. On my way from BC to sunny Baja Mexico and roughly 100 miles north of San Francisco my left rear air spring developed a serious leak. Currently camped at the Ckear Lake State Park near the small town of Lockport. Hoping to get a replacement air spring installed some time in the next few days. Note sure I will continue with my trip. Too demoralized
When my l322 td6 was killing an abs sensor i could get upto about 10mph then upto 70 before it would register a change in speed it was delayed and laggy more so when wet, they send speed from rear left sensor through the abs pump to the cluster,Did you get any other faults? Cruise control and eas raise/ lower happen at correct speed according to GPS, so only appears to be the actual speedo instrument. And no abs fault report.
You can sort this mate, have you managed to source one?On the bump stops again.
