I recently purchased a 99 Autobiography in order to get the factory winch tray and Warn winch to swap onto my offroader.
Car had a misfire on cylinder 7 which we fixed by installing a new fuel injector and known good coils. Then we discovered a vibration in the driveline. There seemed to be some play in one rear U joint so we replaced that but still had the vibration so next checked the diff by pulling out the plug and draining. Two bolt heads dropped out. Not good. A while ago I bought a rear axle from a wrecker so that I would have a spare on-hand. Yesterday we took out the old diff and put in the spare which appears to be in good condition. Just look at this diff we removed. Six (6) bolt heads broken off! How could that happen? Someone over torque them? Very strange. Must have thrown the diff out of balance leading to the vibration. A chip in one tooth on the ring gear and pinion. We fished out 5 of the bolt heads but the 6th is hiding. Hoping the fairly powerful magnet on the drain plug catches it. Maybe we will drive around a bit and then drain the oil again to see if #6 drops out.

I'm in my fifties but I still went tobogganing in the dark last night. Halfway down the slope I suddenly remembered that the sheep were in the field. Almost ended up with a ewe in my lap hurtling towards the barbed wire fence at the bottom. A snowdrift and it would have been very Shaun the Sheep as we passed in front of the moon like E.T.
Closet "sheepshagger"...
