Bolt holes?
You might wonder why i need a new inlet manifold. There is not much to go wrong is there?

However, i think mine is plastic and the broken intercooler fixing bracket has rubbed a hole in it!

Yes. My old manifold has a change in the diagonal after the 3rd or 4th pipe, the new one i bought looked right superficially on t’ internet - but all the diagonals are the same. Bugger.

What age is yours? Up to '97 should be ally. After that dark plastic. Stud pattern is different on some other cars it was fitted to.

Went to go see a lad thats pulled apart a discovery2, i needed a headlight and a pair of callipars so I ended up walking away with every switch, axles, autobox and transfer box, a set of wheels, 2 lots of body panels ecus, abs pumps, turbos, spare engine, propshafts, half shafts, hubs,

But the best bit is in one of the boxes iv found the correct alpine cd changer that works in my range rover since it had the alpine made one and not the bmw made one for some reason,

Had same problem with my rears . Tried new impact wrench on them, no joy. Son had to put 4foot pole on breaker bar and then by standing and bouncing on it cracked the nuts. What the hell do these tyre fitters get out of it torquing the nuts so tight, don't they resalise to tight can cause damage
They don't want the wheel to come off, and they're too rushed to look up the correct setting, wind a torque wrench to it, torque the nuts and tidy up after. I don't think anyone in my place works at the speed some garages do because we don't gun all nuts up to 5 ugadugas and call them tight!

Swapped the front offside lower control arm and it's still fooking knocking.
So far it's had upper, lower, and droplink, I guess it's time to start on the near side

Had a evening with nothing to do so changed my transfer box since i had a 60k mile unit sat from a 4.4 v8 no change,
it was just under a hours work,
Swapped diesel vibration damper onto it
Back together still vibrating 25 to 35 and have a bearing growl on slow down while in gear, no gear makes any difference or sport mode,

So iv just hit buy it now on a front and a rear diff

Im convinced its a diff now

I need to mot my discovery next week so hopefully whatever it is holds up till after then or actually fully fails iv been hoping that it does the past 2000 miles but no joy

Fixed a small diesel leak from filter to High pressure pump hose on my TD6, slight wrap around jubilee clip, then went and towed farther in laws transit connect with blown engine back to his, first time towing with td6, other than it holding revs longer didn’t really feel it on the back, until the usual tug when the rope went slack.
