Just wait until next week Pete.;):D
Fixed it today. Glovebox & airbag out, and the some fiddling to remove the motor. Opened it up, and then with Nanocom monitoring tried the potentiometer end to open - all good. disconnected the plug on HEVAC and tested motor with 9V battery - working.

So applied excessive amounts of contact cleaner to the plug & socket, and now it works again. Fault cleared & didn't come back . . . . . . . .so far.

Found my leak. One of the bastard clips on the heater matrix had worked loose. I am still waiting for the Mikalor ones to be delivered. Not that I am taking ot all apart again now. Managed to sneak a tiny spanner through a gap and nip it up. Condensation absolutely everywhere under the pedals. I am hoping it dries out and the throttle pot recovers because the cable goes over a bracket round the back and it looks like a dash out / released to get the damn plug connector out. Total PITA for what should be 2 bolts and 1 nut. The throttle is held on like a wiper arm with a nut that clamps a linkage onto a knurled nub on the end of the pot assembly.

I have some of those hose clamps if you need some quick to get you out of trouble.
