It's under the seat if you look:rolleyes:

No, I meant the built in loom that feeds what would be the auxiliary tow socket. The BECM has built in functionality to stop the power if voltage goes too low but on mine it was bypassed and a voltage sensitive switch fitted by my fusebox under the bonnet. All proper Land Rover stuff so presumably done either at the factory or by a dealer.

I did think originally they were fitted for the look only. But they do work just don’t do much. Defender ones will light everything up.

Yes, I put those Phillips extra bright rally ones. Cannot recall what they're called now. They aren't all they're cracked up to be, whiter light and marginally brighter but hardly incandescent. Hardly ever use them anyway.

Get fog quite often here. They help a little but not much difference. Way it’s lifted the front is slightly pointed down plus the fogs are angled in the bumpers, maybe passers by can see really well right infront of the wheels? Biggest impact I’ve had on lights was when you told me to clean inside the lenses.

Up under the dash on the drivers side I’ve got one of them fitted with two wires going to it factory fitted can’t tell you what it’s for tho but seen it when I knocked it off getting the dashboard out

They don’t fit. Bit of cuttering involved. Not sure about the puddles but you generally shouldn’t go fitting fandangled lights to a 38. Most go straight to becm not worth upsetting
Now you mention it, I do recall reading that low wattage LEDs can flag up a bulb blown message. I had a blown bulb in one of the footwell lights and never got a message for that so I suspect LEDs would be ok there. I'll stick my neck out and guess that LEDs would be ok everywhere inside but not tail/brake/side/fog/indicators ie- outside stuff.
I'd like brighter rev lights though.

LED's are OK in the dash bulbs, not sure about the interior lamps but CAN BUS LED's would be OK and they work in tail lights etc but not worth the effort IMO.
