A clean yesterday Engine oil and filter change today Wonders will never cease
Squidgy - you are in exalted company... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squidgygateit's just the one end going onto the water pump.. it's a new pump in the last couple of years.
It's just the rubber going squidgy and making the jubilee loose.. hopefully this is the last tightening
Have you seen the forecast? Brass monkey weather.New piston / seal kit for the compressor arrived. Rebuilt the pump, but didn't fancy mucking about in the frost and dark to test and install it. That will be tomorrow when at least it shouldn't be so cold.
Noooo... suspect head gasket(s)?There was pressure in the coolant this morning
I don't know. I did a gas test but it didn't change colour, hopefully that's a good thing but the fluid is quite oldNoooo... suspect head gasket(s)?
Best place for them, the couple and the Micra. What I am NOT doing with my Range Rover today is going out onto the roads. Last night yet another layer of salt onto our roads, turning what would otherwise be a perfectly clean dry road into a skating rink covered in corrosive slime. Here in the fens we are starting to see salt-marsh plants growing as the road salt flushes into the eco-system. And this is all so that Mr and Mrs Miggins don't find the only A4-size patch of frost in East Anglia, dump their Micra into the ditch and then sue the council. Bonkers.
Micra's make great crumple zonesBest place for them, the couple and the Micra.
Tried to make a delivery down in Essex years ago and a Micra was parked on double yellows and the rear of my trailer would have crushed it so the shop staff ,me and a passing policeman bounced it out of the way. The copper said try not to damage it,I was at the front wheel and I had to lie over the front wing once it had been moved until he went because whilst bouncing I bent the wing in ,it was like kitchen foil.Micra's make great crumple zones
What kitchen foil, you mean as strong as thatTried to make a delivery down in Essex years ago and a Micra was parked on double yellows and the rear of my trailer would have crushed it so the shop staff ,me and a passing policeman bounced it out of the way. Depends what the voltage was to start withChecked car for voltage drop over night .3 of a volt is that good
Need to rule out a blocked bleed pipe but almost certain air is getting in that wasn't there before.
I pulled the fuse a week ago so if it's lpg then both solenoids must be leaking too.Could your lpg vaporizer be leaking a bit.

I suppose i could disconnect to be sure
Yea there will be liquid in the pipe from the tank.. dunno how long that would take to dissipateFrom my experience with gas there will still be some pressure in the system up to the injectors when its off unless the lpg injectors still fire when the petrol ones do, if it did not then it would not be a seamless change over, but after a week if it was leaking it would not have any pressure by now
