Pulled the rear wheel arch liners and sills ooff to check the risk of rust in the mud trap.

Pleasantly surprised. No rust in the arches, Still gave it a good cover of hammerite in the places known to collect mud and crap , plus a bit on the small stone chips on the wheel arch return edge and lanoguard on the rest and in the sills.

Cheers

Refitted all my boot interior having taken it out when I took it in for the leak in the brand new tank to be looked at (having paid a garage to do the job because I didn't want to drop diesel on the drive, ha!)
Drove around some lovely bits of countryside near me, came home and parked it up over the nice new diesel stain.

Not finding rust where you expect it is a wonderful feeling, almost "proud dad" :D

Biological washing powder sometimes shifts the stain.
