Messing about with LPG again, something isn't right!!
Switched to LPG, missing on #2 and #3. Switch off to check plugs, leads etc, switch ignition back on and hear the hiss of LPG dump into the manifold!! Not sure if that's all injectors opening or just one. Regardless, i can't figure out what would cause that to happen.
Given up again. Needless to say it then wouldn't start with that much LPG floating around

Went camping over the weekend, the l322 boot is cavernous, just swallowed everything up. Weather was fine for Friday-Saturday but Sunday was a bit wet, the L322 got nice and dirty leaving the Warwickshire countryside. So if any locals want their dirt back, please provide an SAE and I'll post it back before I give it a little wash-down later :p

wasted spark question.. if the coil packs in, then 2 cylinders go down, i get that, but if a plug or lead goes down and stops firing, would that cause the other cylinder to also go down, or just put extra load on the coil causing it to burn out if not corrected?

anyone know how you would modify the target idle speed on a thor/bosch engine? not obviously something nanocom can do, would it need a custom fuel map, is that even possible?

Took it down for MOT with my old boss and....

It failed.

But only on a lower arm bush, couple of hours later and it had a shiny new Mot
I’m in tomorrow hope I’m as lucky.

Jumped in, turned the key, and drove off :) Dropped dog at vet, headed to farm, did a few jobs, then phone went. Nearly had a bloody heart attack. It was the vet.Dog was in getting an x-ray, not due to be picked up until 1300. So when vet called at 1130, the heart flipped. Dog is fine, recovered quickly , so you can come get her now. The heart restarted, jumped in Golden Girl and off to get my other girl :)
Still haven't tried the GAP IID but might have a look tomorrow or Thursday, just because.................

Decided to do my oil change and ended up doing 2 engine flushes with some free oil a friend gave me and a 98p oil filter from eurocrapparts and finished off with proper oil and filter.

Note to self......next time remember to move the fooking oil pan once it stops p1ssing out sideways and starts to trickle then I won't need to spend 2 hours clearing up the oil slick :oops:

Oh and then off to the tip to get rid of 25 litres of used oil.

ordering me bits n bobs to do the radius arms!! :D
presume I can re-use associated nuts n bolts? not manky stretchy bolts or anything silly

Looks like i need to do the swivel bearings too :( up and down movement on the drivers side with a suitably large lever
