I'd guess that with the aircon inoperative on an open system the fans won't kick in as it doesn't see a system that needs them?

Never got mine over 100c even towing in the middle of summer!

I don't know, the ecu may still be able to override?
Won't do much in my case as the electric fans aren't fitted

When I bought mine I rebuilt the entire cooling system just to be sure

New rad
Stat
Fan
Hoses
expansion tank
Water pump

etc

I've rebuilt most of mine too though the radiator was quite new when I got it.

Did a heat test and there's no blockages

Not sure why i worked it out but it costs in the ballpark of £10/hour to drive my landy

You shouldn't have a problem then

Just get a good V/C.

What did I do with my Rangie Rover today. Hmmm. Nothing. I am doing nothing. Does something need to be done? Of course, it's a P38. There's some weird clanking noises coming from underneath, Im not sure what is making it though. So it'll be going back up on stands again and wheels off.

What you have to remember is there’s always someone with more knowledge than you or in my case a mechanic because I really don’t have a clue when it comes to cars it’s all a learning curve
