Very nice but the Ferrari can go round a corner at speed without trying to kill you:D:D
To be honest wouldn't turn either down
I remember reading once that a guy who had owned both said he preferred his 427 Corvette to his tuned Aston Vantage because it was more fun in corners at 40 than the Aston at 100, so he had a licence to enjoy it for longer.

Think that was also the article where it described the small block Corvette as being marginally fast and extraordinarily civilised, the big block cars being extraordinarily fast and marginally civilised.

He had the Vantage but struggled to get in and out of it, I couldn't get in full stop. Hence the Ferrari

As everyone is talking speed, I had to a speeding ticket on the Autobahn, in our RRC, today. Cheap enough with 10 bucks, but it proofed me wrong in my opinion that speeding outside of cities is impossible.

Also, the new job finally came through. Took them long enough, almost 4 months and seven interviews, to make up their minds. Offer is good enough to recover the majority of the losses and costs from my failed business attempt. And to order some more parts to get the old lady even better! TÜV is coming up, so at least the oil leaks should be cured by then... The worst of them that is...

I remember a guy wouldn't send his ticket in with the cheque to pay his fine. He had it framed with a photo of his Reliant Robin.:D:D

Took the Boss to order another bedroom carpet, parked up and caught the wiff of diesel.Whipped the engine covers and , you'll never guess, the leak off pipes are leaking.useless ****ty pipe.:mad::mad:. and yes @RangeRoller dt more painting next week.

Looked at her. Trying to work out why she threw the hard EAS fault.
Sooooo here it comes, the 6th million time it has been asked: which diagnostics for her?
@gstuart and I have trawled the pages and the sites and have ended up chasing our own tails . So I give up, please help.
Golden Girl is an electrickery laden, diesel, 2002, L322, but, despite having an OBD2 port, every system we have looked at says 'no'.
The diesel seems to be the issue.
I don't want a system that means carting a laptop everywhere. I have an android tablet , which would be gadget of choice , if I must link to something.
Can someone give the definitive answer to which diagnostics will be the all singing , all dancing, read, and reset , one for my beautiful, tempermental, beastie )

hiya

Indeed does seem like a mindfield out there , having the obd2 port but isn’t OBD2 compliant on diesels before 2004 , hope that’s correct

Are there any USB ports on ur android tablet please , wondering if there’s a system that just has a dongle u plug in and will communicate with ur tablet, maybe there’s a plug in usb adaptor for urs like there is with ipads ??

Indeed know we found the RSW but that’s out because it needs a laptop with a usb , then we found the hawkeye , but then see u have to buy adaptors

fingers crossed someone will know of one that’s suitable

I think Storey Wilson's stuff is good value for you if you have a laptop.
