If you unplug the LPG ECU it runs fine on petrol? Well, I know what I would do!
Surprisingly he doesn’t even run on lpg anyway just petrol

Just witness a grail storm adding some dents to the already dented roof. Now I have two bigger and a couple of smaller acceleration dents to get rid of.

Good question regarding Britpart and Bearmach, for me Bearmach was always the higher tier supplier in case I can't live with, worst case, "consumable" parts.
Got me some big ones in the roof sides. The BM one does seem a little better and it’s only about £10 between them

Was under the bonnet earlier, engine off and ignition on noticed a buzz/hum. Recessed it to the idle air valve. Is that normal?

Sòooooooo after everything was checked and over, including 'brakes cleaned' and £1300 lighter. I have had a squeal from the brakes , started a couple of days after she came home. Was taking her to local garage today. She stropped yesterday and threw up a hard EAS fault.
She is in local garage now. Unfortunately they don't have right diagnostics. Off to pick her up. Will have to take her to friendly, local, truck mechanic , who does have diagnostics.
It's a good job I love her tenor.gif

Cancelled the windscreen order. Turns out there is a surcharge of £35 for BM to ship the screen to BP, which makes it more expensive than necessary. Thought it was too good to be true

Can't you get a second hand one Jack? If you can take it out you'll know what it will take to replace yours, and you'll have spare trims and clips.;):D

Ive bought a jiggling scraper thing. One of these. 555110C5-2D65-42E0-A69F-0EDB3F1BBD1B.jpeg
Attempts with blades/saws cracked a corner already. Stuff is amazingly strong and hard to get to. Worst case it comes out with an enormous hammer.

Multi-tools like that are brilliant - need good blades though. And they can kick badly if you're unlucky, which might make things bad.
Just don't do what a mate of mine in a truck workshop had - snapped blade when taking out a windscreen. Came back over his hand and luckily only cut the sheath not the tendon to right forefinger. He was in a cast for 6 weeks for it to heal and said most things were OK but even after 6 weeks he struggled with brushing his teeth or wiping his arse left handed.

Did you try the press to unlock then turn to unlock then press to lock and then turn to lock. Repeat as required? Sometimes needing unlocking with a good key first using the blipper. Failing that it is a clear RF memory job using diag.
Took the spare and the instruction sheet from Classic Rides down there. They were able to re-synch both keys OK.

Runs much better for the service, steers lighter for the narrower tyres and the 2 new balljoints. No vibration at speed now. Speedo closer to GPS reading (only about 2-3 mph slow mostly, although still 5mph slow from 25-45mph. Typically in the zone where most speed cameras are!

Had a nosey round the engine again. It's running better on lpg, no misfires detected but still a bit rough. Progress!
Still taps every now and then, no progress on that, need to revisit upper oilways again and see tappets are getting a good supply
