Parts are here but slight mistake. Don’t think FTC4108 is the filler plug for R380 it’s tiny! Any ideas? View attachment 240130

Previous MOT advisory of small oil leak was sump plug (wait til you see the state of the original I put back in :p), ultimax pads look very beefy worth the extra couple of quid, BP lift pump to put through its paces we will see what these aren’t capable of, and some sort of tiny plug? o_O
Think it should beFTC4056 Jack I'll check in the garage tomorrow and if I have one it's yours mate.ill be in touch.

Yes 4056 is the one Alan, I seem to have ordered an R380 ‘gearbox detent spring plug’ - no idea what that is.

Noticing more and more P38's coming to market this last week or so all at rediculous asking prices by the dealers. LOL. My blown Westminster has gone back up to £9995 from £7250, good luck to him there, LOL, the crook dealer Ford Mather @ Impression automotive has now advertised the blue P38 i paid him £6000 for @ £9995 = CROOK C**T, and then we have the delightful dealer Graham Hunt in Londistan not only asking 25k for a 51 plate P38 these last 3 years he now wants 43k for a pre production P38 with over 130k on the clock and because it has CVC on the number plate. WTF i ask!!!!! WTF. LOL
I fort you weren't interested in P38s anymore :p
I contacted the bloke with the 2.5D westminster.. he never got back to me

Not just P38s, so. Over here, it is everything from Series and Defenders (big surprise, right?) over Classic Range Rovers (obviously I tried to price mine, the cheapest rust buckets start around 5-6k Euro up to 35k plus) and P38s. Hell, even Discos are getting expensive. When I bought our RRC like 4 years ago those went for 1-4k, with the 4k ones being pretty solid. I saw one with new MOT for 14k. Kind of crazy.

By the way, finally got to put the new rear shocks in. First and last time I buy Bilstein, sets are not complete (missing nuts anyone?), rubber buffers are to thick and I am pretty sure I will melt the rubber hose on the first 10 miles. Still better than the old ones, so.

That's either side of the gear lever where it goes into the selector housing. I don't remember them being Torx on the P38 though. I had my old one lying around somewhere once upon a time waiting to be fixed. Mind you, there's an A B, C and D version of the R380 at least so who knows what that is off.
