Changed ATF in transmission and transfer box. BTW transmission took 5litres to refill so I guess 4.5 litres left in the system? Continue sill repairs.

Sent my key off for a refurb after the unlock button decided to go on strike.

I had the key refurbed a couple of years ago and the new batteries lasted a week, phoned the company and they said send it back with a £6 prepaid envelope, they checked their work which included a new microswitch and batteries and said all ok. I had to replace the batteries again in a short time and did @warmers battery carrier mod I gave up using the remote and just used the key until last week when I needed to resync when I found the faulty switch. Trying a different company this time.

Mr sporty refurbed this fob for me a couple of years ago. It was back in a few days and that was over an Easter weekend as well. Like I said use it once a week to keep it active. Think the battery problem is crap batteries these days. Have bought brand new ones and they've been dead. Don't seem to get the quality these days

if you look on rs web site they list loads from different manufacturers along with their data sheets, its surprising the difference there is between them

Has been discussed on here before I believe a lot of batteries are now made in the same factory and different companies just put their name on them. Once a name meant quality. alas not any more. Same thing applies to tools too
