i did read it many moons ago but obviously not well enough as didn't see we were stopping at woodall lol :) so laracroft your mate needs to be a woodall for 1230 :D

hope he likes my choice of music blarting out! it is very varied :p

I've totally missed the itinerary... Anyone got a rough idea what page it's on?

page 6

Meet junction 40 M 1 - 11 am
Depart - 11.30 am
1st stop, Woodall services - 12.30pm
Depart services. 1pm
Exit M1 junction 19 (10 mins to camp area)
Provisional times, all convoy peeps confirm timings are provisionally ok
Convoy top speed will be 50mph (to enable convoy to stay together)
Cb radio a must (operating channel 16)
Flags optional but preferred.
Recovery - self recovery (between us all think we could fix everything)
Anything else????????? Anything I have missed ;)

Are there services at Junction 40?

Sorry, i don't usually venture into the west

I don't think so, this is what was posted, so don't think they have decided yet.

Not sure about having to inform police about convoy, don't see why they need to knows has we don't want roads closing or any special treatment.
Junction 40 - could either be outside my house 1/2 mile from junction or
Just after exit is a small industrial estate, no real parking but not busy enough not to be able to pull up on side of road.

I don't really mind where we meet, just looked on the map and looks like we join the M1 just north of Wakey from the M62 :)

U join m1 at junction 42 10 mins to junct 40 plus 15/20 mins to services

Perfect :) well if/when a definite meeting place is arranged if a postcode can be shared around I will just stick it in my sat nav... I will have no idea where I am and my copilot is Dutch so as good a useless for navigation :p
