Right, I am definitely attending LZ11. But I will travel direct from my base in Cambridgeshire. But my plus one (my best mate), is in Sheffield and I am hoping one of you Yorky Legends wouldn't mind picking him up. It is the Eccleshall Road part of Sheffield.
I can do the return trip as me and him both need to be in Leeds early on the Sunday anyway. There will be beer tokens available for the legend who does this favour!

I would, but i only have 2 seats… could he get the train to somewhere near the camp site and then one of us can go and get him?

Potentially. To be honest if he was getting a train, I'd get him from anywhere local to the site. He may even be able to get to Woodall Services as they are v.close to Sheffield. So if you're all brewing up there it may be convenient. Maybe someone who has a spare seat is able?

We're still undecided about what we're taking .. but we're thinking this year of a tent ... but towing a small camping trailer so we have a fridge, proper cooker proper beds etc, so we've possibly got a spare rear seat. It's not comfortable, it's cramped and will be noisy, but if your mate can put up with that he/she's welcome to it.

.. and we'd just pick them up in Sheffield, it ain't that far off track .. well, it is, but so what! Eccleshall Road is our 'usual' route to Peak District, Hathersage etc, so we know it a little .. ;)

As we are travelling in convoy would be easier if he could make his way to woodhall, he can jump in with me as i will be traveling on my own, but a word of warning the landy is noisy as hell cos, well 1 it's a landy n 2 is got insa special tracks on lol :)

Yay!! So that's 2 possible seats... Awesome now get those tickets bought!!

He can always get in the dog crate with my lab in the back if it comes to it

Ahh yes, epic! Thank you (I don't know how to quote several messages, I'm not all that clever with the forum)

I will have to buy the tickets closer to the cut off date due to the very real possibility work could send me somewhere more or less exotic which would mean me losing some of the very precious little money I earn. But I'm working on the bosses to have me free for that week so I'm not committed to a tasking.

He is a student, so cramped noisy conditions is effectively first class to them, but given a spare front seat will be available, he should be able to get to Woodall Services easily

Just what are you planning for this young student?:p

how will we know who he is?!! Shall we state he has to wear head to toe land rover green, wearing a hat and be holding a 6ft yorkie flag?

He is a student, he will be the spotty youth with braces a permanent ********** and dribbling at the thought of Landy time with a Lady:rofl::behindsofa:
