No probs enjoyed leading as always.

Hope you're ok - you know where I am....

Thank you :D

Huge thanks to Neil & you for offering to come out and try to get him up, or just a shoulder to cry on, it was appreciated.

Also to Warriors wife Lyndsey who supported Louise and stayed with her through all of it. They stayed with him till the end, I couldn't do it

I take it you mean one of the horses Sue? I'm so sorry... :(:(.

I had things to do today or else me and Lewis would have been joining you guys on the trip.

We missed you, Zip was asking why you and Lewis weren't with us.

And yes, I got a call from Louise just as I arrived back to say Rocky was ill. Nothing could be done. He was 37 and I had owned him for 32 years so he was on borrowed time. But nothing prepares you for it actually happening. Still cant believe it, it happened so fast.

Ah, Old Git, as you referred to him in our conversation at maccy D's.. :(

I never used to be a horsey person - lovely animals, best seen in fields etc. but we've had Bella for just over a year now, (wife & daughter living the dream as it were) and I understand what people see in them. When her time comes, I'll be in bits too!

On a brighter note - thanks to the Disco visiting her Uncle Neil... and her rather more expensive Uncle Robert! (he owns the local garage ;) ) All the hubs are as they should be, there's no droning, bearing kind of noise at 45-50 any more and she's rolling nice and smooth for a big car on live axles :)
However, her Watts linkage (on the rear) needs a new bush or two and there's a slight lift on the driver's side end of the track rod (on the front)..At least I'm getting there and learning more about owning a green oval-led vehicle.

Sorry to here about that sue

Thank you

LOL I'm learning too, but I haven'y heard of a Watts linkage before :confused:

'tis a Disco 2 thing.... and other makes of vehicle too. One method of locating an axle so it doesn't sway from side to side, only goes up and down yet still allows for articulation (you know, one wheel up and the other wheel down on the same axle).
Taken to extreme, if it wasn't there, if I went round a corner then the body would shift to the outside of the bend in addition to rolling, so the inside wheel would stick out from the wheel arch..

Sorry to hear about that suew,i kind of know how your feeling as we lost one last year. Chin up

Andy
