Well after an interesting night with Mandy and Andy looking at their motors I managed to get mine on the ramps.. It would seem that all is good.. Well almost.. Looks like the bulkhead is a little flakey.. As in a good speed bump and I may lose the doors lol.

Everything else is good tho. Wiring may need a look at as the reversing lights and difflock cables are not in place and the propshaft ujs need replacing.

So all in all I'm happy.

"Daves shopping list"
New brake pads for rear
Missing cross member under gearbox.. (Weird eh)
New universal joints x4
New radius arm bushes
Near side rear bearing needs tightening.
Near side front kingpin needs looking at.

Told ya your ujs where fubarred lol :D

We'll I am now a proud owner of a land rover defender 90. Called Sarah lol.

Hi de hi & bro

There is a place now available on this trip ,I know its short notice but accommodation may also be available if you want to PM me for details:D

Well I thought I would start shopping for bits.. £150 and only half way there.

Should I avoid poly bushes for the radius arms? Paddock have a set at £85 for castor correction ones. Or should I get the 94p single bushes?

Having just been there myself, all the advice I had was to avoid polybushes and go with genuine LR bushes, which I did. We fitted a full polybush kit to mine about 2.5 years ago and they are starting to all wear out now.

Just re-done the front end with genuine. Back end will be done when they wear a bit more

Yep genuine bushes all round,it's worth paying the extra the Britpart ones only lasted about 3 mths on mine.

So there is a place on the Wales trip, anyone want to come, its going to be a great weekend :D:D

Just a reminder about this one. And I've recruited Sarah to join us

13th July 2014 in the Dales starting at Leyburn

I have been chatting to a trail bike rider Pete Jennings on Facebook who lives near there about lanes in the area. He has offered to take us on a trip of all the legal lanes in the area. We already know a lot of them but it will be interesting to see what others there are.

This trip will be led by a bike rider and I have no idea what to expect so no newbies, sorry.

Well £150 down and a weekend of nrgservs unit.
New radius arm bushes. Timing belt kit. 4x ujs and an alarm to fit lol so if anyone is passing I should be around.

I think we should have a Landyzone West Yorkshire laning sticker.

It would look really good on Matty and Dave :D

I think you should Sue, as I think your doing really good things on here, no matter what some people have said, wont mention some type of sweet that tastes of mint,
