Looks like we're going up to Middlesborough to collect sons things from Uni, then he's coming home on the train on Monday, after handing his keys in. meanwhile we (Juliet and I) will try our damndest to break his things by coming the 'interesting' way home ... via all the forstry tracks and Byways I can find.
... and purely based on the cost of fuel consumption alone, of a laden 1989 2.5td 90, I'm not sure that me wanting to go home via the Lakes would impress Juliet too much.

20th, 21st and 22nd june 2014 sarah90 & hideehi birthday laning trip to wales. Limited space on this trip, one group only. Will post details (when i get round to looking ) will be b&b, non of that horrid camping. Plenty of beer and strata, happy valley, wayfarer and pheasant steps at least, dont know any others at the moment now full reserve list started

Well after an interesting night with Mandy and Andy looking at their motors I managed to get mine on the ramps.. It would seem that all is good.. Well almost.. Looks like the bulkhead is a little flakey.. As in a good speed bump and I may lose the doors lol.
Everything else is good tho. Wiring may need a look at as the reversing lights and difflock cables are not in place and the propshaft ujs need replacing.
So all in all I'm happy.

Missing cross member under gearbox.. (Weird eh)
New universal joints x4
New radius arm bushes
Near side rear bearing needs tightening.
Near side front kingpin needs looking at.

So all in all I'm happy.
