Is it just me that thinks Neil goes a bit mad with the red oxide?

Most other bits around the floor pan look to have been painted too .. ;)

in for a penny ;)

20 quid for 2 gallon, plus spray gun

aesthetics aint me strong point. if I've worked on it, it gets painted.
usually
:p

"Rustproofing"

aye ;)

regarding the floor hanging up and fully painted, well....

couple of months back when the diesel issue was going on, we needed to get the sender unit out of the tank. at that point it became apparent, that which ever numpty replaced the boot floor last time, they refitted the new one upside down. while it looked reasonably neat, and was only riveted in, the inspection hole for the tank top was "half a hole out"

refitting it the correct way up meant the ****ty hammerite paint was now face down, and the ****ty gooey black original underside, was now face up.

all cleaned up with an evil sized cup brush thing on the grinder, it got painted.

OK folks we have been invited on a different kind of laning trip

13th July 2014 in the Dales starting at Leyburn

I have been chatting to a trail bike rider on Facebook who lives near there about lanes in the area. He has offered to take us on a trip of all the legal lanes in the area. We already know a lot of them but it will be interesting to see what others there are.

This trip will be led by a bike rider and I have no idea what to expect so no newbies or Freelanders, sorry.

And must have front recovery points and a tow strap;);):D:D

PMSL :eek::eek:

But yes you are correct. Zip made the rule about front and rear recovery points some time ago :hysterically_laughi

As for the straps and your comments about the length of the tow rope Neil lent me. He said to tell you that it was two ropes, a long one and a short one :p:p:p
